He is the perfect combination of playful and calm, knows “sit”, takes treats well and settles down quickly on a nice comfy dog bed. Each day he is gaining more confidence and comfort in his foster home and his personality is showing through. She will find a spot on the couch to relax quietly and even cuddle with you if you’re there, too. She likes looking out the front windows and watch quietly. She is a lovely balance between enthusiastic playing/going on walks and relaxing inside while Foster Mom and Dad do some chores. She has fantastic house manners, house trained, and has never chewed anything inappropriately.
Daisy is happy to follow along, but doesn’t really fetch. Daisy adores kiddie pools filled with water, but Brock doesn’t. These two have mostly lived in the yard and a barn the past few years, though Brock has lived inside before. They’ll need some patience and instruction in indoor living, leash-walking, etc.
Chloe has the biggest heart and so much love to give! She is ready and waiting for her perfect match for her to give all her love to. A loving forever home with a physical or underground fence. Sweet, little Buckeye was found as a stray on the side of a highway by a good Samaritan. His rough beginning has not effected his outlook on life. This little guy is loving, funny, cuddly, inquisitive, lovable, and will definitely make you laugh.
I was born and raised in the small town of Clinton, Oklahoma. I always had a love for animals, which led me to pursue a career in zookeeping. I worked at various zoos across the country before becoming the director emeritus of the Zoo and Aquarium. I am now retired from my career in zookeeping, but I still enjoy caring for animals as a hobby.
